Everybody says they’re “waiting for the right time.”
Waiting to feel ready.
Waiting for clarity.
Waiting for things to line up.
Be honest—
You’re not waiting.
You’re avoiding.
I know because I’ve been doing the same thing.
Sitting there thinking about it. Planning it out.
Running ideas in my head like I’m making progress.
But I’m not.
I’m just delaying the moment where I actually have to show up and do the work.
And that’s the part that hits:
You already know what you need to do.
So do I.
We just keep choosing not to do it.
Not because we can’t—
But because once we start, it gets real.
There’s no more hiding behind ideas.
No more “I’m about to start.”
It’s just action… or nothing.
And right now, I’m not even fully where I want to be with it.
I haven’t gone all in yet.
I’ve been circling it. Testing the waters.
Trying to get my mind right before I fully commit.
But that’s backwards.
You don’t get ready and then start.
You start—and that’s what gets you ready.
So this is me calling it out. For myself and for you.
No more waiting.
No more pretending we’re “almost there.”
We either do the work today
or we don’t.
That’s it.
It doesn’t have to be perfect.
It doesn’t have to be big.
But it has to be something.
Write the post.
Film the video.
Build the page.
Do the thing you’ve been avoiding.
Because avoiding it isn’t making it easier—
It’s just keeping you stuck.
I’m done with that.
I’m getting it going anyway.
If you’ve been in the same spot, good.
Now you see it.
Now you can move.
Let’s build from here.
Keep It Lit.
