9:44 PM.
I’m back on the laptop tonight—for the second time today.
Earlier I ran to Home Depot to grab parts to fix the hose bib outside. Yesterday I ADHD’d out pretty hard and managed to snap the hose off the little spout while pressure-washing the front walkway… after mowing the grass and edging the yard. One thing turned into another, like it always does.
Now we’re watching Napoleon Dynamite. A classic. It brings me straight back to high school—right after I moved back to California. That movie came out in 2004, and everyone was talking about it back then.
That was 2004.
Now it’s 2026.
Time really flies.
A few people I’ve shown this website to—well, website in progress—keep asking me the same question:
“What’s the reason you’re making this site?”
“What are you trying to accomplish?”
And honestly, I don’t have a perfectly clean answer yet. I’m still figuring it out as I go.
The simplest answer is this:
I said I was going to do it in prison.
That part is true. The idea for this site was born while I was locked up. But that answer alone doesn’t really explain why, so let me go a little deeper.
What I really want is to create a place where I can finally do all the things I planned on doing back then. Write. Build. Learn. Create. Share. I actually just realized I still have the little journal I got during a suicide prevention program inside. I’m going to dig that out and post some of what I wrote in there—raw and unfiltered.
Not tonight though. I’m too distracted by the movie right now.
I’ve always liked the movie, but watching it now hits different.
Napoleon ends up getting the girl. Pedro finds his confidence. And looking back, there’s this weird, almost hidden lesson in there—something I never noticed before.
Pedro randomly decides to run for class president. He believes he can do it. He pulls together his little crew. He puts in effort. And somehow… it works.
That’s basically the law of attraction in disguise.
You see what you’re ready to see. When you’re focused on something, the clues start showing up everywhere. Even in a dumb movie you’ve watched a hundred times.
Anyway, this post is exactly what it looks like:
High ramblings. Brainstorming. Doodling. Watching movies. In and out of my phone. Just getting thoughts out.
But here’s the important part.
I plan on taking these rough drafts and revising them—using AI, editing tools, and my own judgment—until they become something polished and post-worthy. And instead of hiding that process, I want to show it.
Before and after. Fully transparent.
Because if there’s one thing I want this site to prove, it’s this:
Anyone can do this.
You don’t need anything special. You just need the willingness to start and the patience to learn.
I’m still learning too.
I still need to watch more WordPress tutorials. I still feel like a beginner. And I still have a lot to improve—on the site and in general.
But this is the start.
And that’s enough for today.
